They might look cute and fluffy but don’t be fooled…these baby stoats are killing machines

Stoatally cute... but deadly: They're fluffy and soft now but when these two baby stoats grow up they will be fine-tuned killing machines

Their snow-white furry tummies are crying out for a little tickle while their baby mews would melt the iciest of hearts.
But don't be fooled.
Because these baby stoats will grow into wily assassins, capable of catching and killing animals up to six times bigger than themselves with a bite to the back of the neck.
For now though these future brutes of the British countryside are making themselves at home at Secret World Animal Rescue in Somerset.
They were saved after being spotted on open ground recently - which is no place to be when you've been born blind, deaf and toothless.

A killing machine? Who me? The orphaned stoats are currently making themselves at home at Secret World Animal Rescue in Somerset

Their carers are currently feeding them with milk supplements but they will soon be converted to meat with rabbits, mice and water voles on the menu.
Eventually, when the become strong enough, they will be released back into the wild.

Put your tongue away! The pair were spotted on open ground recently - which is no place to be when you've been born blind, deaf and toothless
