Biting off more than it could chew: The smoky grey cat looks confused as the lizard latches on to its tongue and refuses to let go

For when the feline made a play for the reptile the tiny creature latched on to its tormentor's tongue - and wouldn't let go.
The lizard took the phrase 'cat got your tongue' and gave it a whole new meaning when it launched its revenge attack.
A comical video uploaded to YouTube shows the irritated cat walking around a back yard trying to shake off the lizard.

Just can't shake it: At one point the lizard begins to disappear in the cat's mouth as it pulls the tongue back in

Its tongue stretches as the weight of the creature pulls it towards the ground - and the stubborn reptile seems content to dangle precariously from the cat's mouth.
The confused moggy repeatedly tries to shake off the stripey lizard but is unable to do so. At one point the lizard begins to disappear into the cat's mouth as it pulls the tongue back in.
