Monkeying around: Amazing photos capture the graceful dance of the primates

Take your partners please: Hanuman Langurs show off their moves...

These funky monkeys look footloose and fancy free as they strut their stuff in the forest clearings they have made their dance floor.

The playful young primates move with natural flair as they try to outdo each other performing cartwheels, kicks and leaps.

...including acrobatic leaps high into the air

The athletic footsteps - and unusual choreography - of three different groups of monkeys were captured by Anup Shah and his partner Fiona Rogers in this spectacular series of photographs.

The Verreaux's Sifakas - with their silky cream and brown fur and long tail - were hopping across a forest opening in Berenty Private Reserve, Madagascar.

They threw their arms into the air and extended their tails to help them balance as they bounced off in search of fresh fruit.

Strictly monkey business: Verreaux's Sifakas are effortlessly graceful...

The young Hanuman Langurs, which are grey with black faces, leapt several feet into the air while their parents rested in the shade in Rajasthan, India.

And the Geladas, with a bright patch of skin on their chest, performed cartwheels and played chase as they returned to their cliff edge home at sunset in Ethiopia.
