Puss in fruits: The cats in the hats that don't look fit for purr-pose!

We know cats love a good fight but it's not everyday you see them dressed for battle.
This lot have been snapped by their quirky owners, not showing off their fancy collars, but helmets - made of fruit. From melons to oranges, grapefruits to pineapples, there is not a fruit in the bowl that these felines can’t fashion into some form of headgear - and it's totally fit for 'purr-pose'.
The biodegradable trend - which even works with a banana skin - is so popular that some dogs have been spotted working the ‘citrus’ look.
But judging by these photos it is the cats which can pull off the headgear the best.
The moggies - who have no chance of developing scurvy - are pictured starring menacingly at the lens, their whiskers poking out from underneath their 'helmets'.

It's not the first time cat lovers have photographed their pets in weird and wonderful poses.
Last year, an internet phenomenon swept the world where owners would hold their pets in the air - taking inspiration from the famous scene in the beginning of The Lion King where the wise mandrill Rafiki presents the young Simba to the herd.
And, earlier this year, several websites and blogs were set up purely for the purpose of celebrating cats who like to sit back and relax in style - just like their human owners.

But these latest cats must be counting themselves lucky they don't look like the moggies who bear a striking resemblance to Adolf Hitler.
Their white faces had black markings just below their noses just like the Nazi dictator and even fur on their heads mimicked the slanted side parting sported by the WWII German leader.
