Bunny love: Paris tweeted a picture of her newest additions to the Hilton household... twenty rabbits that she rescuedParis Hilton is a self-confessed softie when it comes to anything furry and four legged.
The socialite has a huge collection of pets stationed around the country at her various homes and just keeps adding to their swelling ranks.
Her most recent addition? Twenty - yes, twenty - rabbits.
Hilton tweeted a picture of herself yesterday feeding the bunnies a mixture of rabbit food, lettuce, carrots and grapes, with a note: 'Feeding My Bunnies a Late Night Snack'.
The 29-year-old went on to reveal that she had been compelled to rescue the rabbits when she learned of their impending fate: 'The bunnies were meant to be feeders. I saw them at the petstore & they told me they were for snake food and I had to save them.'
Further tweeting: 'I rescued 20 of them. They are now happy living in my backyard. They are all so happy, so nice to have changed their fate.'
Monkey business: Hilton owns two monkeys along with a multitude of various other animalsIn case anyone was in any doubt about Hilton's love of animals she made it clear via a Tweet on September 11th: 'They are such beautiful creatures and make the world a better place. I love animals! They make me happy :)'
Hilton once admitted on Ellen DeGeneres' show that she has a staggering seventeen dogs in total now as they keep breeding.
Other animals include two cats, three ferrets, two monkeys, a baby possum, a goat and a recently acquired micro pig.
'So excited for my new piglette to come home to me,' Hilton Tweeted about her new $4,500 purchase, going on to reveal she plans to call her little porker Princess Piglette.
Not everyone believes Hilton's love of animals is to be commended though. PETA recently launched a brutal attack against her claiming she's setting a 'wretched example' by treating animals like they're 'as disposable as her friends and fiances'.

Going on to say: 'The Chihuahuas, ferrets, and kinkajous she’s paraded through her home in the past were not accessories, and pot-bellied pigs aren’t either'.
And they're not the only organization that's criticized Hilton and her apparent animal collecting. After Hilton dropped Prada, one of her rescued kittens, off at the vets and never sent anyone to collect her, Linzi Glass, president of the Kriss Kelly Foundation slammed her: 'Being a pet owner requires a level of responsibility and maturity,' Glass said.
'It is clear that Ms Hilton lacks the maturity to take care of anyone or anything but herself.'
